Rare Upgrades are Impressive
With new ski and boot models coming from almost everyone for next year, the launch of new bindings from NNN and Salomon have been somewhat overshadowed. That's unfortunate, because the new NNN Xcelerator and Salomon ProPulse bindings are some of the biggest developments we've seen in a while.

New Nanosonic uses improved core materials
We made our first trip to the Madshus factory in June of 2009 and came away with a clear vision of what Madshus is building and why. At the time we decided that we needed to set aside more time for our next visit, and hopefully get on snow at Sognefjell to test the new skis. We set aside a few extra days this June in between visiting SkiGo and Holmenkol to make it happen and we can't wait to get over there.

Evolutionary Developments Look Promising
Our collaboration with Fischer in the lead-up to the Olympics was a fantastic experience, and Fischer’s results at the Olympics showed that we had picked the right guys to work with. Given the strength of the brand representation in the World Cup field we would expect Fischer to lead the medal count at the games, but it was also clear that the Fischer guys had done their homework and took their job at the games very seriously. Over the course of the Olympics we went to the Fischer cabin for skis six or seven different times, and each time we brought back a ski that went right to the top of the list. Every company makes good skis, but the Fischer guys clearly knew exactly what they had made and why.
